Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas out there 💛

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve had the honor of sharing some truly incredible women as part of my Just Another Mom… But Everything to Someone series.

What started as a simple Mother’s Day idea turned into something so much bigger.

I laughed.
I cried.
I sat in complete awe reading these moms’ stories and watching all of you show up in the comments loving on them so well.

As a motherhood photographer, I get to capture beautiful moments every day… but hearing the heart behind these moms and seeing the way their families and friends describe them? That’s something I’ll never forget.

To every mama—whether you’re in the thick of toddler chaos, raising teenagers, rocking babies to sleep, missing a child, praying for one, or simply doing your best every single day…

You matter.
You are seen.
And you are so much more than “just another mom.” 💛

Just Another Mom…
But Everything to Someone 💛

Sierra.

I always say she is my ideal client in this industry. I’ve been with her since her very first pregnancy… and now here we are, three babies later. And honestly, this right here is my favorite part about what I do.

Watching families grow.
Watching the babies grow.
Watching two brand new parents carefully navigate every little thing with their first newborn… and then years later watching them juggle three kids like absolute rockstars!

That transformation is something so special to witness.

Somewhere along the way, Sierra became more than just a client too—she became a friend.

And if you know her, you know exactly the kind of calm, loving presence she brings into a room.

Right now, her favorite part of motherhood is simply sitting back and watching the magic unfold between her children.

The giggles.
The way they learn from each other.
The joy they find just being together.

She shared that one of her favorite things in the world is watching baby Palmer light up when Beckett and Presley interact with her 🥹

Those little sibling moments… the quiet kind of magic that makes this busy season feel so beautiful.

One moment she wishes she could freeze forever?

A warm spring day outside together. Bubbles floating through the air.
Her toddlers running and laughing while Palmer sat watching it all with the biggest smile. One of those moments that feels small while it’s happening… but later you realize it was everything.

And more than anything, she hopes her children always remember her warmth and patience. That no matter what, they could always come to her—for the big things, the hard things, and all the little everyday moments in between.

Motherhood has softened her in the best ways. And especially as a mom to a child with special needs, she says it’s taught her more compassion, more understanding, and how deeply kindness matters.

She tries every day to be the kind of person she hopes her child encounters in this world. And honestly… that says everything about who she is.

Just Another Mom…
But Everything to Someone 💛

Monica.

I met her last year at the Bumps & Beyond Expo and we instantly hit it off. She was so much fun from the very beginning

Not long after we met, she booked a maternity session with me and we seriously had the best time. I already can’t wait to work with her again.

Right now, Monica is in that beautiful, emotional season of first-time motherhood. Learning day by day, figuring it all out one moment at a time. And honestly? I think so many moms will relate to what she shared.

She talked about how surprising it was to discover all the hard things that are “normal” in motherhood… but nobody really talks about.

The pushing through.
The wondering if you’re doing enough.
The quiet moments of hoping you’re being the best mom you can be.

But in the middle of all of that… there’s magic too.

The gummy smiles 🥹
The giggles.
Those slow mornings where her baby just stares into her eyes and smiles like she’s his entire world.

Those are the moments she wishes she could freeze forever.

She shared that motherhood has completely changed the way she sees life. That the life she knew before doesn’t even compare to now. Because becoming a mom taught her how to slow down, pause, and truly live in the moment.

And more than anything, she hopes her son always knows how deeply he is loved.
That he feels safe with her.
At home with her.
And that no matter how many times life knocks him down, he can always stand back up and begin again.

She described motherhood as selfless, strengthening, and rewarding… and I think that fits her perfectly 💛

And according to her 5-month-old?
He probably just looks at her like “this crazy lady” 😂
