Y'all this Meta and Adobe bs is making me so sad and angry. I don't understand how I'm supposed to go on sharing my work on these apps or if I will even be able to learn new tools fast enough to be competitive in my field. I can't go on using platforms who eagerly steal my work and livelihood and say it's for progress when I know it's just to line up their pockets, and at some point they'll just use it as a way to charge me more money. I can already see how it's affecting "creative moral" - will we actually be able to compete with a program that can spit out 100s of variations of "art" based on generative image work?
Its pessimistic, but it's also reality.
I think we may be entering a dark age for art... maybe we're already there.
