PERSONAL POST
Thank you for all who have offered countless prayers, love and service on behalf of our family. This past Thursday, my dear, sweet husband Jason finished his courageous battle with cancer. To know that he is finally free from the intense and relentless pain he has experienced brings us a great deal of peace.
At the moment of his passing, I thought of the verse in 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" ❤ As a wise friend reminded me, we can have faith in God and still feel grief. We can have trust in Him and His plan and still miss those we love. Our children and I will miss him so much.
To know Jason was to know a man who truly loved people. He had a beautiful way of making people feel seen and welcome. He worked hard to memorize people's names including every one of his chemotherapy nurses. I loved his laugh, his love for our children, his enthusiasm for all things LA Kings hockey, his appreciation for good food, and his all enveloping hugs. He is my best friend in every sense of the word. I am grateful for the life we built together. I rejoice in the knowledge that I will see him and embrace him again some day. Until we meet again, my love.
Jason's funeral will be held on
Friday, Sept 4th at 10am
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
10862 Maple Ave, Hesperia 92345
All our welcome!
