While hiking on the Chickadee Trail yesterday at Kensington Metropark, I spotted this nest high up (40 feet) in a maple tree. It appears to be a bald-faced hornet's nest. Judging by the size of the maple leaves, I'm guessing it was almost three feet high. It's the biggest nest I've ever seen.
