There was such an incredible amount of love at this December wedding. Almost every piece of the event passed through the hands of loved ones. The florals were put together by a family friend. The cake and deserts were all made by loved ones. The bride’s dress was passed down from her mother. Her dreamy winter cape was also a family heirloom. Even the bride’s wedding band was passed down from her father. There was so much warmth despite this wedding taking place during the coldest and darkest week of the year in Washington.

Yesterday was this good boy’s second birthday. I’m throwing parties for all of my animals every year from now on. It was such a good day. Rufus loved his birthday swag.

I have to say that does such an amazing job every single time I order a cake. This time she even nailed it with the little blue birthday hat that I had and we never even talked about that. Perfect cakes every time and so delicious.

Hello! I’m finally coming out of my unintended winter hibernation. I really leaned into taking a break and enjoyed time away from my computer. I have so much beautiful work to share.

Does anyone else switch gears when winter comes? These last few months I’ve really enjoyed working with my hands and doing home projects. I feel another shift slowly happening as we see more sunshine and longer days.

E & M got engaged back in November of 2024. This guy did such a wonderful job combining his proposal with a party with their favorite people. Plus, the mariachi band was such a nice touch.

Miguela + Travis

The last few weeks have been jam packed with the most beautiful weddings. This one was especially beautiful, with butterflies and all. Miguela and Travis have such a wonderful community of friends and family, and that made the celebration so much fun. I haven’t partied that hard on a Sunday in years.
