Offering studio or on location pet photography. Most of that wouldn’t be true.

Sharon Whitehall—Whitehall Photography

I guess I could say how photography is my passion and how I grew up with a camera in my hand….how I knew I wanted to be a photographer…. Being a photographer, a pet photographer didn’t really cross my mind. Most kids, myself included, want to be a veterinarian or a doctor. But I did LOVE taking pictures. Then life happened. But I kept taking pictures. Photographing events, weddings and my kids. Then the digital age began. My skills grew and the spark to see the world through the lens lit on fire. It has been almost 15 years since then. Capturing a snapshot of people’s lives for them to treasure. I found that it was something I enjoyed and was good at. In 2013, we got a new pup, Millie…there were LOTS of pictures of the new pup. I realized I really liked taking pictures of dogs and she made it really easy. I started taking pictures of other dogs. I took some pet photography classes and my niche was created. These days my favorite things to photograph dogs, kids and families. And I am in pure heaven if I can put all three together. Millie is my heart dog, she gets me. I realized that there are lots of people like me that their dog is a big part of their life and they need to be included in the pictures that go on the wall. That is what I want to for my customers, include the WHOLE family. Four legged ones included. Pet Photographer | St. Louis Pet Photographer | Family Photographer | Child Photographer

This little guy is turning O-N-E.

I have forgotten how fun it is to be around littles. Oscar was a delight to have in the studio. His momma and grandma adore him and helped out during the session. I love having momma's in the pictures too.

Well this post has been a long time coming. These images were taken at the beginning of July in Michigan. When we got home life imploded and these images took a very back seat. Yup I'm a bad grandma.

Welcome Georgie Grace. You are so loved by your family and your big sisters. Sharon Whitehall Elin Whitehall Andrew Whitehall

Look 👀 at this beauty! I have been photographing Sammi since she was born. She was WAY more cooperative than she was when she was 3. I believe during that shoot I promised her a pony if she would smile. As always, daughters of Erin and Joe White are beautiful and amazing. Sharon Whitehall. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Sammi.

Sessions are located where your pet is most comfortable. For Waldo, Bennie and Hank that was their own back yard. The 'boys' were amazing and did everything we asked of them during the sessions, treats did help.

Look who is 6 months. (well almost seven). I tried to get these taken without Mollie Momphard Nichols. What a fail that was. When I am going to learn. So these were taken a little after 6 months and it took me a while to get them posted. So here we are. Sharon Whitehall.
