Each moment in our lives has such a special influence on the rest of our timeline. Every single moment can have a purpose.

I love documenting the seasons in between, the new relationships, the 2 and a half year olds, the I've had my dog for four years. I love that the moment will be captured in a time with no expectations from society, but just a time when you were happy to be present.

And what is even more significant to me is the way each session has touched my life. I am capturing your moments, but your moments mean the world to me.

Thank you for all the in between times and adding special moments to my life.

It's amazing how incredible people and a happy family can spread positive feelings and inspire new life for another.

Life has been so hectic for me lately between learning to live in this new chapter of life to going back to school to raising two boys to maintaining my health.

This beautiful family and their family reunion brought so much happiness to my life for that hour that I had to sit down and think about how I should prioritize photography again.

The authenticity that emerges from a family of love and happiness is such a beautiful thing. I am always so grateful to be able to be a part of these moments.

The last year has been quite interesting and I have gone through a lot of big life changes. You may have noticed I haven't been very active here.

I love photography and it has certainly been sad for me not to interact with all the families and couples I've come to love.

To give a little update, I went through a divorce. It was a difficult decision to come to, but is for the best.

Since then and during, I have been going through life with a lot of intention and self improvement. I have focused on my health, running road races and attending the climbing gym regularly. I am enrolled in an MBA program to build upon my career. Most importantly, I have focused on my relationship with my children as they navigate through a new chapter in their life.

While I don't have as much time to devote to my business, I am trying additional methods to continue this business and create beautiful things.

At this time I am taking limited bookings and have opened an Etsy site where I am selling nature prints. It's a little sparse at the moment, but will be growing.

I am in a new season of life and it has called for a tremendous restructuring. In light of that, I welcome you to my new beginning and to visit my new website.

I make sessions light-hearted and fun. I love what I do and love capturing real smiling faces. These little boys belong to me. I know that standing still in front of a camera is not their favorite thing to do and I'm sure your kiddos feel the same. My goal is that they don't want the session to end....

When you're this cute, it's easy to steal the show!

And with this adorable little photo, here's a little business update. For about the last year, I have been going through a large life change. To make this work I need to go back closer to square one and change my name again. You might notice, the change from juniper & oak to Rebeca Marie.

My personal issue is unrelated to the business. No unhappy customer experience led me here. It is entirely a personal life change.

I have debated closing down completely, but couldn't quite say it out loud. I think I just needed a change. Please bear with me while I go through this transition.

It is all for the best. ❤️
