Today is National Horse Day, and it felt like the perfect day to share a little piece of my heart. Meet Chics Dig My Kicks (aka McGyver) — my personal horse and the newest addition to my family. While he’s not my only horse, he’s the most recent reminder of just how special these animals are and how thankful I am to get to call this life my own.

Getting to photograph my own horse hits different. These images reflect exactly why I love what I do — capturing personality, presence, and connection. (And yes… McGyver is an exceptional poser 😉)
