A little heart-to-heart from me 🤍
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to share the beautiful, genuine moments I’m trusted to capture. I love seeing your families, your babies, your milestones, and all of the little moments that make your story uniquely yours come to life through my work.
But as much as I love sharing these precious moments, your trust will always matter more to me than marketing ever could.
Because of that, going forward, I will not share images of minors’ faces without explicit consent given through my photography contract. If you choose not to have your child’s face posted, I will absolutely respect that. No questions asked and no hard feelings. This is not to say I won’t post them, but you must consent first.
I still want to share the beautiful memories we create together, but I also understand that some of those memories are meant to be kept private and treasured within your family. And I want you to feel completely comfortable telling me that.
As AI continues to evolve and new conversations, concerns, and laws surrounding the use of images continue to arise, I will keep educating myself, monitoring those changes, and adjusting my policies when needed. I know this is an ever-changing conversation, and I want to be intentional about doing what I can to protect the families who trust me.
But for now, this is my heart, and this is a step I can take to help make you and your beautiful family feel safe.
You are trusting me with some of the most meaningful moments of your life. That is something I never want to take lightly.
My hope is that when you step in front of my camera, you feel safe, comfortable, respected, and cared for—not just while we’re taking pictures, but long after your session is over.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories and allowing me to tell a little piece of your story. It truly means more than you know. 🤍
