I absolutely love shooting photos with a wide open aperture - creating images with beautiful colors, soft light, and bokeh.

But I also LOVE some stark lighting when I can!

So when I had the chance for some help holding stands on the beach today to shoot off camera lighting, I 100% jumped at the opportunity! 🤩

Nothing brings me more joy than being surrounded by beautiful English Toy Spaniels. This April, I attended the English Toy Spaniel Club of Western Pennsylvania and was truly impressed by both the number and quality of entries. Thank you to the owners of these exceptional dogs for taking the opportunity to capture portraits of their beloved companions while we were all gathered together. 🤩

Graduation season is here! As I wrap up editing seven canine sessions from the Morgantown, West Virginia dog shows, I had the privilege of photographing someone especially meaningful—my beautiful niece. She’ll be walking the stage next week, and I couldn’t be more excited for all that lies ahead in her journey. Congratulations!

I will be on-site at the Morgantown, West Virginia dog shows on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th, offering a limited number of Show Sessions.

As this is one of the southernmost events I attend, this is a great opportunity to book at a reduced rate—Show Sessions are more cost-effective than standard photoshoots, with no additional travel fees.

Sometimes Mother Nature isn’t exactly cooperative when it comes to photoshoots. Between snowbanks taller than eye level, mud and ice underfoot, construction zones, and a stallion who was far more interested in breeding the sheep in the indoor arena than standing still for the camera… sometimes you just have to make it work.

And make it work we did. Despite the challenges, we still captured some great images for an upcoming Quarter Horse sale. I’m looking forward to hopefully working together again in the future—preferably when everything is green, dry, and a little less chaotic outside!

When you originate from Norway and hunt Elk (referred to as Moose in Norway) it only makes sense you do a photoshoot in your native environment... snow!

"Oz", or officially known as CH The Great And Powerful Oz of Somerri BCAT SBN SIN SCN CGCA CGCU TKA FITB VHMA OVNEX (phew!) did a fabulous job rocking this late afternoon session.
