Virginia is for lovers! Taylor and Sam married on Sam’s family farm in Virginia this spring, where they grew up just minutes from each other and fell in love 10 years ago. The ceremony was held in a field on the property, and as if the day wasn’t gorgeous enough we were greeted with the most beautiful blue moon to end the evening. I drove down, and it rained. I woke up, and it was still raining. So I grabbed my cameras, walked to the field across the street and thought “let’s do this”

I know the thought of rain on a day you’ve been planning for months and months can be nerve wracking, but what happens when we welcome it anyways? I’m so lucky to have been in the presence of C&T and their loved ones in Virginia last month, where they all looked outside, shrugged, and just kept dancing. Shot on a mix of 35mm and 120! 🌾🎞️
