It is with great sadness, but also peace, happiness and no regrets that I announce that I am "retiring" so to speak from professional photography.
Having a baby of my own makes me realize how precious time is, every hour every minute. And working full time and getting my Masters degree, doesn't leave me with a lot of free time! The time I do have I need to use wisely and spend quality time with my family and daughter. This doesn't mean I will never return! You never know what the future will bring, so I will not shut this page down.
Please note that if you are a customer of mine, I will absolutely be finishing out my contracted weddings of 2019 and 2020 but as of now am not booking any more weddings or photoshoots.
I will miss professional photography, sure! I have been doing it (weddings, photoshoots) since I was ~ 18, so about 12 years. I've grown a LOT as a photographer, looking back at my originals makes me embarrassed! Its good to see how much I've learned and I cherish those experiences. I cherish the newborns I got to photograph. Happy families. Seniors. Newly engaged happy couples, couples on their special wedding day...photographers get such a unique opportunity to enter into peoples private lives and witness such special moments and deliver a product they can cherish forever. I can foresee a time in my adult life in which I will return to the love of it all but for now, I need to do what's best for me, my family and my baby girl.
Thank you to all my customers that have supported me so much all throughout those 12 years. You all stuck by me as I grew as a photographer, and always supported me! Thank you for having let me enter your lives and deliver those moments!
