They say it takes a village, and I’m honored that you’ve chosen to be a part of mine.
As I sit back and reflect over the past 10 years of business, I am overcome with joy knowing that I’ve met so many talented minds, been a part of countless creative productions, and most of all — helped bring your visions to life.
When Doug and I started Erickson Surfaces in 2014, we saw an opportunity to service an industry with a unique offering that empowered photographers, stylists, bloggers, and food enthusiasts to share their magic and inspire their own communities around the world. Over the years, we’ve grown our team and watched each member flourish in their respective roles, making our small business even more rooted than the year before. We studied the ever-changing trends that each new season would inevitably introduce, and responded with products that enabled our clients to push their creative boundaries.
For ALL OF THIS, we are forever grateful.
And now it’s time that we evolve again!
We’ve made the decision to take a different step forward.
Although we will be closing the doors to our Orange County studio at the end of November, we are NOT closing our business. We’re moving away from our core collection of surfaces and shapes, and focusing on custom surfaces by commission. If you’re a SoCal friend, swing by before then and scoop up our gorgeous collection of surfaces and tabletop rentals. And because- as you know, this girl needs to keep her creative juices flowing- we will continue with education through in-person workshops and online tutorials. Stay tuned for more information on that!
It’s kismet that during a season of togetherness, when many of us gather around our tables to break bread and celebrate gratitude, the Erickson team would like to raise a glass in YOUR honor.
