today is such an important day for me 🤍 it’s the start of a whole new chapter personally and professionally! i’m officially a full time, self employed, photographer and i’m so excited for this journey! i can’t wait for all the art coming and the souls i’ve yet to create with.

for my fellow spiritual baddies, today is the luckiest day of the year! the cosmic energy is incredible and im soooo ready to just embrace it all. year of the horse is no joke ❤️‍🔥

and to kick off this new chapter, i wanted to reintroduce myself for anyone that’s new! hi, im beth :) im a wlw cinematic photographer located in rhode island, but i love to create all over new england (and hopefully farther!) im very in touch with my witchy side, i crave depth of all kinds, and im not afraid to sit in the uncomfortable. i value authenticity and vulnerability above anything else and literally all are welcome in front of my lens. this is deeper than just my passion, its the way my soul speaks and i cannot wait to keep aligning with likeminded humans.

- last week was le***an visibility week and i wanted to take the time to share a reminder that i’ve often been told to “professionally” keep to myself: i identify as a le***an! ive been out for many many years and i try to represent that in my art and in my trusty rainbow camera strap, but i wanted to publicly put it in a post in case it’s not known!

everyone in my personal life knows of my identity and, tbh?, i forget to even “disclose” it sometimes. i don’t think it makes a difference in a professional setting and especially not in an artistic setting. but ive decided i want to be more personal on this page because i put so much of myself in my art. and the main reason im making this post is because i want anyone in front of my lens to know they are safe and seen. so many of the lgbtq+ community have to gauge who they can be themselves with and not all businesses and creatives are welcoming of us. with me, everyone is safe.

i would very much love if more members of my lovely community were to let me capture themselves individually or of them in love. 🫶🏻🏳️‍🌈 but yeah PSA: long live the le***ans! ***anvisibilityday

The Shower After.

a story i’ve heard one too many times. a story that is far too relatable. a story that is becoming routine. and a story i’m sick of hearing.

this is an artistic expression piece showing the physical representation of what it is like being in an abusive relationship. with april being sexual awareness month, we used our creativity and artistic lens to make art that embodies both our own experiences and the experiences of those who have been in similar situations. we hope that by putting our feelings and experiences into visual form we can validate other’s experiences who have experienced similar abuse.

we very much understand these images may be too hard, too raw, for some people to view. (especially if this is, unfortunately, a relatable experience). i have personally noticed my work is gravitating towards showing darker, realer, and harder topics. it definitely aligns with my soul the most. i feel more seen in art/media i consume that isn’t afraid to cross the lines. i prefer the uncomfortable because it is where more truth and depth and exposure lie, in my opinion. it speaks to me more. i know there is an audience of people who are likeminded and they prefer the audacity of rawness. AND i also understand and completely hold space for the people who need more gentler art. all are cherished. so if this isn’t for you, we understand and respect the distance you may need to keep from this piece.

this is a topic that very much does not have gentleness. we usually speak of the aftermath and the warning signs. there is so much beauty and strength in finding yourself after a moment of it being taken away - in any way. to any degree. i am simply here to give more of a voice to the during.

as always, huge thank you to for daring to be authentic and raw and aggressive as a muse. working with you always heals a piece of me.
