J'den Harrison, a senior at Bossier Parish School of Technology and Innovative Learning and officer in Future Farmers of America, plans on majoring in chemical engineering at LSU or LA Tech with the end goal of developing agriculture on the moon and Mars! Framing all the bright and kinetic potential of the already quite accomplished young people in front of my lens is my favorite thing about senior sessions. The world needs curious, tenacious, and hard working critical thinkers like J'den. Keep on keeping on, Gen Z. Shoot for the stars! 💫🚀🪐

Back to school season is in full swing all across Shreveport and I can hardly wait to see my friends at St. Mark's Cathedral School next week for another school photo op! St Mark's is such a great place to grow and it's such an honor to photograph all the love and light in this place year after year. See you soon, lions! 💜🦁

Photo sessions with grandparents are grand indeed. How I wish I had more photos with mine! Even so, I keep a photos of them near- in my office and at home- because even though they've gone on ahead of me to the other side, their influence on my life and story looms large. These relationships are so unique and powerful - a worthy way spend some time photographing. These are just a few in front of my lens lately! 💞

It's always good to work after having rested well and I'm so thankful for having had a good dose of feet-in-the-sand, nose-in-a-book refueling last week. I'm preparing for a full fall season and if you're like me, you're currently looking at the calendar and working things out! If you want a family session this fall, NOW is the time to book it!
