Over the summer I did a little session on the beach in Cape Cod with my cousin's GORGEOUS Granddaughter. She also happens to be a senior in high school this year. I don't pretend to know how to shoot senior photography so this was way outside of my comfort zone but it was SO much fun. We had a drizzly, foggy, sultry kind of a day in the Cape and Chelsea knocked it out of the park.

As much as I hate that the summer is wrapping up, at least we have these unbeatable, golden fall days to look forward to...

I have been MIA on social media for a while and I'm trying to be better about it. Working full-time, being a full-time student, a Mom, running a household and a small business doesn't leave me with a lot of time to share with everyone what I've been shooting. This beautiful mama joined me on a gorgeous winter day to take some photos. I almost never shoot outdoors in the colder months but if I have an adventurous couple and a beautiful day like this one, it is always worth it. As she and her husband anticipate meeting their new baby, they slowed things down just a bit to enjoy and appreciate this time together.

It’s very seldom that I get in front of my own camera but I want to remember these days, forever and ever.

I took my kids to the field to do some holiday photos a week after the holidays were over. What's that they say about the cobbler's children? Happy Belated Holidays everyone! (P.S. I didn't print or mail them - maybe next year?).
