What a gift it is to be involved in so much of your life. I have seen so many babies grow, people vow to spend the rest of their lives together, graduating seniors take the next step, homes go for sale, and lots of other beautiful sessions that make me FEEL alive. Thank you for it all.

I think life becomes about finding the sayings that feel so cliche, and making them mean something. I found “you’re my sunshine on a cloudy day” with Aaron and Rachel. It was pure overcast (my favorite) and when I type that they could. not. stop. smiling at one another, I don’t think there was one file on the memory card of them not filled with sunshine. I cried a little on my way home because this kind of love is such a “once in a lifetime thing” and when you get to experience it, it’s a treasure to keep safe. They are color in the dark

Got to visit a sunrise at the Beasleys. Chickens and peace. The wind through the massive trees with those fall touches on their home. They are everything soft and gentle.

Phew! Let’s work backwards from a very busy summer being very pregnant.

Halle Kay somehow turned 1 in August when we were just in their Norfolk home photographing her at days old.

Nothing like a new home being documented forever as this family grows & photos taken at the same park WE took their wedding photos at. Full circle and full hearts.

The emotion that was free to be felt yesterday was something I wish I could package up and gift to all future bride and grooms. Life is anything but a bow tied package. The way they honored Ashtins dad since he couldn’t physically be there was an honor to listen to.

Brooks was the light of the show. The infamous cream cheese mints, an itinerary to keep them on track, and every good and perfect moment in between.

What a joy this one was. As always, I witness how you parent and love and hold the hands of these loved ones and it means a lot to me to witness some moments that will never fade and always be cherished.
