Happy National Dog Photography Day!!

My life's journey, with all its ups and downs, has helped me find my mission in life. In 2020 when COVID hit, my portrait business, went out of business. This was a perfect time for me to search my heart and discover what I really wanted to do with my photography business. I decided to rebrand my business to what I have always loved and that was working with pets. I studied and received my dog training certification and pet psychology certification.

Pets are such a big part of my family it helped me think of my new pet photography business name, Pets R Family. I truly believe Pets R Family and belong in photos too.

Dreaming of Paris with upcoming new model Valerie Willis. She is gorgeous, sweet, and is quickly learning flow posing. I highly recommend working with her.

I am now focused and dedicated to making my Pet Photography business, Pets R Family the best I can by helping pet parents.

I canceled my Custom Design Portraits website, which was very scary to do. The good news is that I will start offering classes in 2022 to photographers, to teach them what I know about photographing portraits, lighting and building sets. Pass along the knowledge I learned to others.

Sometimes life takes you in a different direction then what you originally planned. Follow your heart, even if it’s not what others would do. In the end, your legacy is your story, don’t let others write it for you.
