Little bit of a long personal post…
It’s crazy looking back at these photos the first two being almost a year apart and realizing just how much has changed.
Over the past year, I’ve lost over 60 pounds, but this journey has become about so much more than a number on a scale. It’s been about deciding to go all in on myself—my health, my confidence, my work, and the life I want to build.
There was a point where I realized that if I wanted my life to change, I had to be willing to change with it. I had to stop waiting for the “right time” and start putting in the work. There have been plenty of days where it hasn’t been easy, and I still have a long way to go, but looking back reminds me just how far I’ve already come. At the same time, I’ve been chasing another huge goal of mine turning my passion for photography and content creation into something I can do full time.
I’m incredibly thankful for the people and organizations who have taken a chance on me and trusted me along the way. T O B Y B E L L B O W E N , Adrenaline , Xavier High School, Taylor Kuehl , Matt Crafton ,and everyone else who has given me an opportunity, trusted me on the sidelines, at the race track, handed me credentials, brought me into new environments, shared my work, recommended me, or simply believed that I could do this—thank you.
Those opportunities mean more to me than you probably realize. Every game, every event, every late night editing, every late nights road trip back home to be at work in the morning, every photo delivered, and every new connection is another step toward the life I’ve dreamed about building.
There’s something pretty special about being able to stand on a sideline or at a racetrack with a camera in my hands and realize that something I once did simply because I loved it is slowly becoming my career.
60+ pounds down. A dream getting closer. And a whole lot more work to do.
I’m proud of the progress, but I’m nowhere near finished.
Can’t wait to start this next season Tomorrow and continue working towards my goals!! Thank you to everyone for all the support!!
