Ollie the Ele is the OG animal mini. He’s been all around LA, from beaches to mountain tops, but his favorite is this little oasis in a tree well in North Hollywood.

Last theme of the mini series is Animals in the City. This guy was placed next to the staircase of the US Bank tower in downtown LA. There were little berries nearby that fit perfectly in his little mischievous hands.

In San Francisco I started a series called Urban Fishing where I glued old guitar strings to the end of these fishing minis and placed them in various fountains around the city. This one went up in Sydney Walton Square.

Staple Remover Monster - Miniatures Collection
I never posted any of the miniature photos I created. This was my first creative project with my very first DSLR. At the time, I took a lot of inspiration from artists like and especially . It’s been over 10 years since and it’s only now seeing the light of day. Better late than never 🤷‍♂️

Pumpkin Caveman now available as a print!

I had this concept for a long time and made it a reality many Halloweens ago with concept help from (swipe for concept pic). Two pumpkins for depth and matches as the fire pit. Still my fav mini shoot.

Chamonix, Mont Blanc 1/3. Swipe 👈 for the pano.
While trekking the tour du Mont Blanc I took some time to do a sunset hike to the top of Mt. Brevent to watch the sun set on the Mont Blanc massif. Despite being a very popular hike/tourist destination I was joined only by marmot and ibex while watching a top 3 sunset of my life. The climate crises continues to decimate the glaciers on Mont Blanc, some of which continue to experience loss of 40 meters per year. I’m grateful to have been able to experience this majesty while it still exists.
