Just for fun and to see if it still worked, I took my little 22 year old 3.2MP Nikon Coolpix885 which hasn’t seen the light of day in years for a stroll around the neighborhood, and was pleasantly surprised at the results.

I think this one helps illustrate the resolving power of larger size negatives. Shot on my Mamyia RB67 Pro SD with a 65mm lens. Even tightly cropped and viewed at 100% detail remains...I think the film was Portra 400.

Here's a quick reminder when using multible lights/flashes to always start with a black frame so as not to contaminate your image with ambient light. Then add and adjust each light one at a time to see the effect it’s having, then take your final shot. You can then make further tweaks in whatever editing sofware you use. Here you can see the sequence used when combining red and blue gels to add some interest to an otherwise pretty bland photo.

Quarter Moon, Half Moon, Full Moon sequence thanks to the power line running through my frame (and still dirty living room window so excuse the blur). Not exactly what I had in mind to use as forgroung interest lol, but it does help to illustrate how fast the moon is moving across the sky. Here only 7 minutes passed.
