I do NOT enjoy seeing myself in photos. Yeeechhh! So .evans of doing a monthly self portrait is important for getting myself out of my comfort zone. So…these are bad. BUT they were hard! I tried “free-lensing” with different m-lenses and a A1ii to get a weird close-focus effect and be able to see myself. This is that. I think I can do better next month…. :-)

Since firmware 4.0 rolled out, the Q3 43 has become my favorite “take anywhere, especially with family” camera. These are jpegs straight out of camera, f/2, with either the “Teal” or “Brass” looks. If the autofocus can keep up with my boys, it’s good!
