the most perfect engagement session โ›ฒ๏ธ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’

emma and ethan are one of those couples that you meet and instantly understand how perfect of a match they truly are. working with couples whose love you can FEEL in every glance, every touch, every moment that passes is truly is one of the biggest privileges of my career. these two were so outgoing and were more than willing to try all the fun poses and prompts i gave them :,) we spent the evening walking around the gorgeous , where they went on dates & little adventures together in college ๐Ÿฅน i canโ€™t wait to capture their wedding day this summer, iโ€™m honored to know and work with such amazing couples!

reminiscing on a + jโ€™s mother daughter sesh ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿฐโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒผ

one of my favorite parts of my job is that my creativity is always allowing me to see things from a different perspective. re-editing old sessions is something that reminds me that i DO have the vision and i always have :,)

since this session, iโ€™ve shifted from posing my clients exactly how i envisioned to letting our sessions flow naturally & authentically. the ability to capture even the smallest moments and quickest interactions as they unfold without heavy direction is an art in and of itself. i love using my photography as a form of storytelling for my clients and giving them photos that invoke feeling and emotion. reflecting on old sessions and challenging myself to tell the story a little differently than before helps me continue to give my clients the best experience ๐ŸคŽ

since there are so many new faces here, i wanted to reintroduce myself โ‹†หšเฟ” ๐Ÿ’๐ŸคŽ๐ŸŒž

a HUGE part of creating meaningful connections with my clients is showing them who i am when i put my camera down. not only do small business owners have a million different responsibilities within our businesses, but we also have to show up for ourselves, our families, and our people. running a small business is unbelievably rewarding, but itโ€™s also very easy to feel burnt out, isolated, and overwhelmed. showing my clients my personality allows them to get to know me beyond just seeing the photos i take. iโ€™m able to give them a glimpse into my sessions, my workflow, and my life. it reminds them that iโ€™m a real person who understands the importance of balance, slowing down, taking breaks, and finding things that bring me joy & fill my cup. authenticity is so important to me because i always want my clients to feel safe, comfortable, and confident
