Who says Mommy & Me photos are just for little kids?

One of my favorite parts of photography is documenting relationships at every stage of life. Getting to know Karami and her mom over the last two years has been such a gift! From wedding photos to milestone moments and now recreating a treasured image from years ago.

Watching the love and friendship between them reminded me that these connections deserve to be celebrated no matter our age.

Some reveal the ones already around us.

We'll explore her iconic projects, discuss ethics and storytelling, and ask thought-provoking questions about the role photographers play in the stories they tell.

Her work reminds us that photography isn't always about perfect lighting, expensive gear, or elaborate concepts.

Sometimes it's about curiosity.
Sometimes it's about patience.
Sometimes it's about simply seeing people.

We'll be exploring her iconic projects, discussing ethics and storytelling, and asking some thought-provoking questions about the role photographers play in the stories they tell.
