Sweet little Daisy is here, and she is absolutely precious! 🌼🤍 Those tiny details, those perfect little cheeks, and all that newborn sweetness… I could photograph this stage forever. 🥹

And today, I’m feeling especially thankful for the people who make it possible for families like Daisy’s to feel safe, protected, and cared for every single day. 🇺🇸❤️

A heartfelt thank you to all of our first responders-police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics-for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. Your service means more than you know. 👮‍♀️🚒🚑

So grateful to be able to capture these precious moments for families while others are out there protecting and serving ours. 🤍

There’s something so special about bringing the newborn session into the place where your family is already settling into this new chapter. 🤍
While my studio will always be home to my signature posed newborn sessions, I’ve been seeing more families drawn toward an in-home feel-and I have to say, I’m loving the beauty in it.
The quiet moments. The nursery. The tiny details that make your home your home. The way your family naturally interacts with your newest little love.
This session was a beautiful reminder that newborn photography doesn’t have to look one particular way. It can be soft, intimate, timeless, and completely personal to your family. ✨
And yes… I may be adding a little more of this to my newborn offerings. 🤍

Everyone: “Newborns sleep ALL day! This should be easy!” 😴

Mikaela: “Oh, you thought I was gonna sleep? That’s adorable.” 😂

We waited. We rocked. We fed. We shushed. We tried every trick in the book.

Mikaela’s response? 👀
Absolutely not.

Apparently, Mikaela had places to be and things to supervise. 😂

Friendly reminder: newborn sessions are not always sleepy—and that’s OKAY! Some babies snooze through the whole thing, some need a little extra time, and some would like to personally approve every single image. 🤣

Either way, we roll with it and let baby set the pace. 🤍 I did catch her with her eyes closed just this once 😴
