I am a Board Member for a wonderful organization called Shutterbugs4Charity. Each year, we curate images from local artists to create our calendar and note cards for our annual fundraiser. 100% of our fundraising goes towards helping grassroots organizations who are serving others .. from helping animals, veterans, youth, and many more!

I attended an in-person workshop last week in Salt Lake City Utah - it was all about dynamic lighting and posing High School seniors (and some video techniques too!) - I met some wonderful people and invested in my growth as a photographer - I love learning and this was a great experience! I photographed some amazing young women at a number of beautiful locations. I'll be sharing some of these images over the next few days. The young lady is named Elyse and she was really fun to get to know and photograph.

Shutterbugs 4 Charity is kicking off its 5th year with our annual cards and calendar fundraiser! I am proud to sit on the Board of Directors for this wonderful organization!

We hope you enjoy a sneak peek at what you have to look forward to in these products, all of which make great gifts as we near the holiday season!

Our 2025 calendar includes a combination of landscape and wildlife, while our 3 card sets include separate packages of landscape, wildlife, and simplicity. These can be ordered on our

Had a wonderful evening last night. Hubby joined me at our Maine Professional Photographer Association annual convention and awards banquet. Proud to share I took home several awards:
- Landscape Photographer of the Year
- Sports Photographer of the Year
- Artistry in Photography Award
- Best Black & White
- Judges Choice

I am so happy to be a part of this association! Congratulations to all the recipients last night! A few fun images at the selfie station- even dragged hubby over there against his will!

I know FB is being swamped with Eclipse images and I still have to process mine the way I want, but I cannot help share this particular image .. out of the many I took, I think this has to be a top 5 favorite. More importantly, my family and I got to witness this amazing event and I actually took a few minutes to look up despite running the camera!! Totality is soooo worth the travel to see!
Thankful that Kevin and Jordan were there to be with me and Dylan and Bria got to see it from another location. More images to come! We made a pin hole sign which was fun once we figured out how/where to hold it LOL. Not sharing the sign Kevin made because it's not PC :)

Getting ready for the Solar Eclipse on April 8th! Practiced today with the solar filter, long lens, & tracking the sun with my Star Adventure tracker. Now, I just have to plan out the best locations (plan A and B in case of bad weather) and ensure I get all the shots I want AND actually try to actually enjoy it :).

Hello everyone! I am proud to be on the Board of Directors for Shutterbugs4Charity. We are a 501c3 nonprofit focused on “Inspiring A Better World through the Lens.” 100% of all profits are donated to community based nonprofit groups, with a particular focus on grassroots organizations. Some of the areas we are focusing our effort on are groups serving the homeless, children/teen, mental health, and animal welfare and more.

We need your help! Shutterbugs4charity has designed some beautiful calendars and note card sets. They make great presents for the holiday season! Last year with the partnership of so many of you we raised $90,000 and supported over 30 organizations who are doing remarkable work to serve others in the area of homelessness, animal welfare, mental health and services helping children and families. We can’t do any of this without your love and support. If you can help out in any small way, we really appreciate your partnership more than you know. I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful daughter of a long time friend last evening. The light was superb, the location was awesome (thanks to our amazing neighbor Cathy Frost!) and her family was so much fun!

Wanda and I go back over 30 years and now her youngest daughter, Savannah is a senior! It seems like yesterday we were getting our own senior photos taken and deciding our own next steps in life!

Wanda & Billy, you both were so much fun - lots of laughs were had for sure. Savannah, I wish you so much fun in your senior year - it will go by fast, so enjoy it! Thank you for being so great in front of my camera and a pure joy to spend time with! I've attached a few of my favorites from last night. Can't wait for you to see the rest and pick out your own favorites :)!
