An Important Update Regarding Children’s Photos 🤍:
After a lot of thought and research, I’ve made the decision that I will no longer be sharing photographs of children on my business social media pages or website.
With the rapid growth of AI and the increasing ability to take innocent photographs of children and manipulate or misuse them in ways they were never intended, I no longer feel comfortable publicly sharing images of my youngest clients.
This does not mean I will stop photographing children or families! I will continue capturing all of those sweet milestones, personalities, and memories for you to treasure. The difference is that those images will remain yours rather than becoming content for my business.
Even when a parent gives permission to share an image, a child cannot fully understand or consent to where their photo may end up once it is publicly available online. For me, protecting their privacy is more important than having those photographs in my portfolio or on my feed.
I know this may mean sharing less of some of my favorite work, but it’s a decision I feel strongly about.
Thank you to every family who trusts me to capture such personal and precious moments. That trust means everything to me, and protecting it will always come before a post. 🤍
