One of the greatest privileges of being your family photographer is getting to grow up with your family.

In my mind, time stands still between sessions. Then I see you again and marvel at how much you've changed, how much you've grown, and how quickly the years have slipped by.

Photography is my favorite kind of magic. It gives us a way to hold on to a moment forever, even when life refuses to slow down.

“The flowers bloomed, big sister smiled, and somewhere in between all the quiet little moments, a family grew even sweeter.”

There is just nothing better than a little bundle of love. So small, so sweet, so absolutely perfect. Watching this family love on their newest gift was the best, and getting to witness those first little interactions between sisters absolutely melted me.

This is my why :). I love getting to be there to capture these moments, and what an honor it is to create the very first official photos of a brand new little life.

Sweet little Lucy, you are already so very loved.

Here's a little story about a photographer named Jess, who showed up at the OU campus with a UT hat upon her head, she got some funny looks, but her nephew was all smiles, accepted my apologies, and toured the campus for a while, golden hour that is....Architecture, history, beautiful campus. Jokes aside, I had the greatest time with the greatest nephew capturing a moment in one of his greatest achievements! The world is his oyster, and I can't wait to see how he makes it his own ❤.

This family wedding was filled with sweet moments, happy tears, and so much faith

The ceremony was incredibly moving, and their vows were so genuine and full of heart

The way their family and friends surrounded them and showed up for them… it was one of those moments where you could feel it, not just see it

I will admit, I found myself getting a little emotional behind the camera

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.”

This was such a beautiful way to begin the wedding season, and I’m so looking forward to more moments like this

8th grade, but make it a whole moment ✨

A little bit of cap and gown on the USAO campus, a little bit of open field magic… and somehow it all came together so perfectly for her. And let me just say, she showed up and glowed for every bit of it.

There is something really special about this in between seasons, not quite high school yet, but already stepping into who they are becoming. Big things ahead for this girl, I just know it.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

If you have an 8th grader promoting this year, do not skip documenting it. These moments matter more than you think.
