It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, and I’m sorry that this is what I am posting

NLindig Photography has hit the end of an era. I have not be actively seeking clients for the past year or so. Having session here and there, but not actively working on my business and outreach. With being a full time teacher, my life has taken a shift.

Photography will ALWAYS be an art form that I love and enjoy and continue to make a part of my life, just not in this capacity. Perhaps sometime in the future I will want to rekindle this flame!

Thank you thank you thank you 1000x over for every single person who has supported me and this business for the past 5 years. It was such an amazing gig I got to do all throughout college. And I will never take for granted the fact that I was able to capture SO many of my friends and family’s major accomplishments from recitals, to graduations, to weddings, and so much more.

Teaching has put a LOT on my plate and I haven’t been able to do as much with photography as I have wanted. But just know - I’m still open for booking photoshoots whenever I can!

Check my story for availability for Sept. 23rd where I’m hosting mini sessions on ISU’s campus. These can be for graduation, recital, BFF, couples, anything! DM me to claim a slot!

Graduation Minis are live!! I changed the name to ISU Minis because you can book these slots for graduation shoots, recital shoots, or anything else you want done on campus! Graduation shoots are just what is in most demand right now.

Starting today until July 23, I will be “out of office”! This just means that I will be answering texts, emails, and DMs slower. I’m working a camp this summer and will have limited time outside of that camp. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, just know that my response time will be slower. I found this in my camera roll the other day and I was really taken back. Can you believe how far we’ve come in just a year and a half? Thankfully, photo sessions were able to happen safely pretty early on, but now we can really do them even safer!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This summer I promised myself to dedicate time to reading.

And so far I’ve read two books and I’m on my third in a little over a month!! Y’all, I haven’t been able to read for fun and enjoy it in so long. Who else can relate??

Here are the books I’ve read this summer so fun:
📙Blended by Sharon Draper
📙Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens (SO GOOD!!)
📙Educated by Tara Westover (haven’t finished yet)

I have so many more books on my list for this summer & I’m going to try my best to read as many as possible 😂.

✨why should I hire a photographer to capture my proposal?✨

There are a few really good reasons, actually. Of course this is ultimately up to the couple, but if you’ve been debating about this or if you hadn’t even thought of this. This is for you:

💍your partner more than likely wants someone there to capture the moment. Even if they haven’t verbally told you. This is such a big turning point moment in your relationship, filled with raw emotion and reactions. You want to remember it, they want to remember it!! (PS there are ways you can still keep it private and intimate with a photographer).

💍you can do an engagement shoot right after the proposal!! You don’t have to get dressed up a second time or book another shoot. Plus it is SUCH a fun date idea!

💍you get to be in the moment without worrying about being posed or anything, but you have pictures of your fiancé’s reactions, and the entire moment.

If you’re on the fence about having a photographer, whatever the reason, this is your sign to hire one 🗣. We can (and will) help you still make it a complete surprise. We can (and will) make it fun! We can (and will) help you hash out all the details. And if you already have a plan, we can (and will) play right along with it. Trust me: it’ll be worth it. 😉
