For my photography, I use Nikon cameras and lenses which I have been using for over 40 years. I shoot all images in raw file format.

I print my photos on specially coated metal which creates brilliant images with radiant colors.

Our “Bathing in Quito” photo print is the perfect picture for this beautiful primary bathroom. Sized at 16 x 24” it is also the perfect fit for the wall adjacent to our customer’s personal bathtub!

Grand Prismatic Spring at Yellowstone National Park is a Mother Nature masterpiece of colors and textures, highlighted by geyser steam and a beautiful surround of trees. We recently hung this 30x60 photo of Grand Prismatic, which was taken on our first of two visits to Yellowstone. Must say it’s a beauty.

Hammel Horizons has been on a hiatus for most of the summer (we moved 📦🏡🙂). But we are back to do our last event of 2025, and it promises to be a fantastic one!

Come see us next weekend at the 50th Annual Art in the Barn Art Show Saturday & Sunday, September 27-28, 10 am-5 pm, on the grounds of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Hwy 22, Barrington, Illinois.
Admission $5. Kids Under 12 free. You’ll find us at Booth T06. Stop by and say HI!

I call my angle on photography “landscapes & cityscapes.” I marvel at the natural beauty that surrounds us but also love the energy and excitement that can be found in big cities, and often small towns, too. I sometimes find the beauty is found in the people who live in those cities and towns. And I try to capture these wonderful scenes I come across as best I can through my lens.
