Stolen camera's 😞

Last night after photographing Cure's amazing barista competition I went out to celebrate. Came back to my passenger side window smashed in with my camera bag stolen.

Thanks to this wonderful community I've gotten better about asking for help. So with this post I'd like to share a go fund me link to help funding a replacement.

Also a description in case the gear pops up in a thrift store or marketplace.

The cameras are Fujifilm brand. Xh1 and Xpro 2 model. They were in a brown canvas camera bag.

Any help is appreciated. I just want to get back to sharing this gift with my community 🪽

Story time: with a broken foot over the holidays I tried to stay in good spirits about my birthday trip. joined me in Richmond to listen to the living legend
Last year I struggled with finding my spark for photography but this lecture helped reignite it in a divine way. After he finished speaking I noticed I didn't have anything for him to sign. Reaching in my wallet for a piece of paper I grabbed a dollar. Jamel kindly but hesitantly said "it won't be worth anything." To me it meant nothing BEFORE he signed it. Now it sits framed in my art collection as a reminder to invest in yourself.

Celebrating the last Sunday of this year with gratitude! I remember having buyers remorse when I bought my first "real" camera during the pandemic. At almost every photoshoot I thought at least once "what if this is all I can do?". Now I'm currently exhibiting at one of my favorite museums amongst the community that inspired me to silence those thoughts.

This photo encapsulates the joy I feel as I get to build my dream with you! Thank you!!

Moving different 🪽

Truly appreciate the patience! The world is a tumultuous place right now but it's important to remember we aren't powerless. A few small tweaks could be the difference that saves another.

It's a bit tough to make art these days without feeling a bit guilty. However I'm still committed to the craft. Change is coming and this jaybird is learning how to fly through the storm. I'll share what I learn from my amazing community along the way.

Sees "Sinners" once 😂

While walking past one of my favorite apothecary's my new friend
Was making custom hats. We worked together along with a fedora from to create this one of a kind piece. Can't thank everyone involved enough. This is one of those creative side projects I've had on the back burner for years that just manifested out of the blue.

These stories write themselves, I just grabbed a pen.
