I love when seniors come in and aren’t afraid to show exactly who they are, and that is just what Jacob did! He had a vision for his senior photos, knew what he wanted to incorporate, and trusted me to bring it all to life. I think we created something that is very much HIM!

Not two.
But THREE of my images were published in the latest issue of SeniorMuse Magazine!! THREE!!!

There is just something incredibly cool about seeing work I created...with MY seniors... chosen to be featured alongside so many talented photographers from all over.

A couple of years ago, senior photography was a bit of a scary pivot for me. I knew if I was going to do it, though, I wanted to do it differently. I didn’t want to just create pretty pictures in pretty places. I wanted every session to actually show WHO that senior is at this exact point in their life.

Somewhere along the way, what started out a little scary became one of my favorite creative outlets. I get to dream up completely different ideas for completely different kids, and create something I hope they'll look back on years from now and think, “Yep. That was me.”

That has always been the vision for my senior photography, and seeing THREE of those images chosen for SeniorMuse feels like a pretty darn cool reminder that maybe that vision is coming to life. 🥹❤️

And obviously I have to show off the three that made it!! 😍

One of my favorite things to hear at a senior session is basically, “Sure, why not?” 😂

Gavin was up for pretty much anything I threw at him, from a red and white checkered wall to school buses and everything in between. If I had an idea, he was willing to give it a shot.
