I recently had the privilege of capturing my nephew Riley's senior pictures. He holds such a special place in my heart and has grown into an amazing and handsome young man. I can't wait to see what life has in store for him next year. In the meantime I hope he soaks in all of the fun and excitement of his Senior year. We love you Riley and are beyond proud of you! No, I am not officially taking pictures again but I had fun photographing sweet little Elizabeth today. 9 months ago she was my last official photo session. The photo session today, was just for fun. I missed taking pictures and well she turned 1, probably my favorite age to photograph. I photographed my last official session today. It just happened to be one of my favorite families. I am so thankful my sister-in-law introduced me to them. They have become dear friends. In August they welcomed a perfect and sweet little girl named Elizabeth who has brought so much joy to their family. She has three amazing brothers to protect and love her as well as a Mom and Dad who are absolutely smitten with her.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week long vacation in sunny Florida. It was an awesome week and gave me the perfect opportunity to take pictures of the two sweet girls who began my passion for photography. They are two of my most difficult clients to take pictures of but also my favorite. I mean really, why would they want to listen to Mom tell them what to do. HA!

These girls, my sweet boys and my hubby are why I have chosen to step away from photography. God has made it very clear where I need to focus my time and energies. I will greatly miss all of the awesome families I have taken pictures of but so thankful to just be Mom!

Enjoy the photos and don't worry, I took plenty of pics of my boys but nothing formal...they are 1, on the move, don't like pictures and one of them didn't like the beach.... so getting pictures of them felt way too overwhelming. HA!
