The proposal plan was SET... & yet the rain was falling.

We studied radar, traded text messages, said a prayer & the very MINUTE Markus pulled into the driveway with his unsuspecting soon-to-be fiance, the rain stopped & the sunshine covered them. It was unlike anything I had ever seen!

Meredith's genuine shock, gratitude & awe made this an absolute unforgettable evening to photograph. It was an all-hands-on-deck family affair to make this happen and I was thrilled to be invited to photograph it!

Happy Graduation Day to these hometown kids!

I'll admit I'm a little bit partial to the Pequot Lakes Patriots as it's the town I live, work, play and raise my family in.

There is so much pride and support for these graduates as they cross the stage tonight. Congratulations Josie, Presley, Mady, Kyra, Dana, Sofia, Emily, Alexa, Jack, Griffin, & Cecelia! The sky is your limit!

What is more memorable than a winter brunch wedding? Intimate morning nuptials, followed by french toast, bacon, laughter & family.

It was a beautiful February day for Kaitlyn & Andy as they celebrated the first day of their marriage at Grand View Lodge. Bitter cold doesnt begin to describe the outside air, but we snuck in some photos beneath the pines, along the path ways & behind the historic lodge. Their love, kindness & warmth, filled Cru, the lower level wine bar where they celebrated & toasted with the people most dear to them.

Before we turn the page to spring, I wanted to share a few winter weddings ~ starting with John & Evelyn.

This family holds a special place in my heart, so when John and Evelyn shared their vision for a December wedding at the Olive Ann Hotel in Grand Forks, North Dakota, I couldn’t wait to drive north and capture this beautiful couple at a new (to me!) venue during the most wonderful time of the year.

It was as memorable as I hoped it would be: a charming boutique hotel decorated for Christmas, a special family that always makes it feel like a reunion when I see them, and a happy couple who were so easygoing and willing to step out into the cold December night for a few winter portraits on the quiet downtown streets.
