📸 A Friendly Reminder About Booking Policies
I wanted to address something that’s come up few times recently and never has before.
I completely understand that paying before your session can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’ve never worked with me before. Every photographer runs their business differently, and I respect that.
That said, I take my business extremely seriously. This isn’t just something I do on the side this is how I help provide for my family. I have never not shown up for a scheduled session, and I never would. My clients trust me, and I work hard every day to earn and keep that trust.
Because I take my business seriously, I also have policies in place that protect both my clients and my business.
A signed contract and paid retainer are required to reserve your date, and the remaining balance is due one week before your session. Once your date is booked, I turn away other inquiries for that time. When payment isn’t made or policies aren’t followed, it directly impacts my business and my family’s livelihood.
If these payment terms aren’t something you’re comfortable with, I completely understand, and there is absolutely no hard feelings. Every photographer has different policies, and you deserve to choose someone whose process makes you feel comfortable.
However, moving forward, my booking policies will be strictly enforced. If the retainer or final payment deadlines are not met, your session will be canceled and your date will be released. These policies are not meant to be difficult they’re simply what allows me to continue running a reliable, professional business.
To all of my wonderful clients who continue to trust me and support my small business, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means everything to my family and me. 🤍
