A little over share because, 1. I love this man more than words could say. 2. It’s officially October which means we get to bring on ALL the warm tones. 3. My dear friend created the most beautiful pieces of art that I now get to blast everywhere in our home! And I couldn’t be more obsessed! ⁣

Having photos done meant SO much to me! T has been my best friend for as long as I can remember and if you know him, you know he’s the absolute BEST person. Getting to FINALLY have a few minutes of our love story documented was seriously so special. 💛 ⁣

This weekend was a very special one! Two of my sweet friends became husband and wife and it was more than perfect! Amanda Courtney called me up one day and said, "What do you think about an elopement?" You best believe, there was a resounding YES on the other end of that call. So they moved their wedding up two months and said yes to forever in front of their close family! I'm still gushing over this beautiful day!

My life looks a little different than it did 7 years ago. Just entering my 20s. Not fully secure, and unsure of how to get where I wanted to be. I think we know exactly who we are all along. But sometimes it takes a minute to find the courage to own what makes your heart beat. It’s difficult to find your voice and just stand bold in your uniqueness sometimes. SO, as I reflect back on the journey that brought me here, these were my biggest take aways:⁣
⁣
• Reflect on what you DO and DO NOT like. It could be as simple as alone time or constant plans. Your style. Foods and activities. Whatever those things are... recognize it and own it. You don’t have to change. ⁣
⁣
• Hearing “No” or saying “No” is not failing. It’s one step closer to your best “Yes”. ⁣
⁣
• If something is a little scary or out of your comfort zone, but you KNOW it would be good for you... do it. Don’t keep shying away. I have found that the more I lean into the uncomfortable, the more I grew. ⁣

For today's senior spotlight, meet Chasity! I absolutely loved adventuring with this sweet girl! Chasity is so down to earth and is beyond precious! She was willing to take photos in the rain, walk through fields and do "anything and everything". I have such a passion for these girls and truly loved every second of this session! You all know it's incredibly hard to pick just a few favorites but I did my best to narrow it down! 💛

I have had the privilege of photographing Slade's senior photos, graduation AND now prom! I love how creative this beautiful girl is! She always shows up to her session with something completely unique to her precious spirit. 💛

Happy Monday!

I'm so excited to start off the week by sharing one of my favorite weddings with you!

Lucy Morrison and Connor's "boho meets bluegrass" wedding was full of intention love and so much fun! Initially, these two had planned to say, "I do" in warm and earthy Utah. But due to a change of plans, they made the most out of their new situation and became husband and wife right here in their home state of Kentucky!

To say I am obsessed with these two is an understatement. Their love for adventure, people and each other, makes them amazing to be around.
