Last night’s sunset at Niagara Falls was one of those evenings that reminded me why I never get tired of photographing this place. As the light faded, the sky shifted through layers of warm gold, soft orange, and deep blue, creating a beautiful contrast against the power and movement of the falls. The calm glow in the distance and the rushing water below made for a scene that felt both peaceful and dramatic at the same time.
Niagara Falls is always inspiring, but nights like this are something special. The changing light, the atmosphere over the water, and the way the city begins to sparkle in the distance all come together to create a moment worth stopping for. Capturing scenes like this is one of the reasons I love landscape photography so much — every sunset brings a new mood, a new challenge, and a new story to tell.
These are the kinds of moments I love sharing through my work, where nature, light, and place all come together in a way that feels timeless.

Stepping back in time at the historic Lockport Locks.

There’s something incredibly powerful about standing where history was quite literally carved out of stone. I spent some time this morning capturing the iconic "Flight of Five" locks, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe thinking about the grit and determination of the people who built it.

From the beautifully detailed "Lock Tenders tribute" statues keeping watch, to the hypnotic rush of the water over the historic tiers, and that lone packet boat waiting in the stone chamber—this place is a photographer's dream.

"Excuse me, do you happen to have any nuts for me?" 🥜👀

Caught this little local resident practicing their best polite posture last week while out around Niagara Falls State Park, USA. Sometimes nature’s smallest subjects make for the biggest personalities!

As a photographer, my work is all about preserving moments, legacies, and stories for generations to come. Today, we honor the ultimate legacy left by the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Because of their sacrifice, we can gather, celebrate, and capture beautiful moments with the ones we love.
Today and every day, we remember. 🇺🇸

They say you can't rush a good thing, and nature definitely took its time cooking up this masterpiece Thursday night. While the clouds were trying hard to roll in and take over the sky, the sun had other plans, cutting right through the gloom to give us this absolute showstopper of a sunset at Gratwick Park.

There is just something unmatched about sitting right on the edge of the Niagara River, watching the heavy, moody purple clouds face off against that fierce, fiery golden hour glow. It’s the ultimate contrast—peaceful, dramatic, and breathtaking all at once.

Sometimes you just need to pull over, step away from the chaos of the week, and watch the sky do its thing. We really are incredibly lucky to have views like this right in our own backyard.

It’s so easy to get used to the things right in our own backyard. When you live in Niagara Falls, the roar of the water and the mist in the air just become part of the daily background noise.
For myself, I visit the Falls probably 6-10 times a month, and honestly, I take its sheer beauty and scale for granted way too often.

But with the start of tourist season, I’ve been paying attention to these people who may only get this one chance to see the Falls.

There is nothing quite like watching someone see the Falls for the very first time. The exact moment they walk up to the railing and their jaw drops—that pure look of awe and wonder on their faces is absolutely priceless. It’s a total reality check.

Seeing it through their eyes is the perfect reminder of how incredibly lucky we are to call this wonder of the world our home.

This week, I’m sharing a few of my absolute favorite photos from my travels! I’ve been lucky enough to explore some truly beautiful places, and nothing makes me happier than bringing you along for the journey.

Today's Photo was taken a few years ago while in Louisville KY. I had an idea for this photo and planned the shoot to catch the sun rising right above the upper corner of the facade.

There is something hauntingly beautiful about a structure that has no walls, no roof, and yet tells a story louder than entire neighborhoods.

Captured under a brilliant sunburst, this is the historic Heigold House Facade, located at the intersection of Frankfort Avenue and River Road in Louisville, Kentucky. It stands today as a monument to resilience, craftsmanship, and a deeply personal slice of American immigrant history

Built in the 1850s, this wasn’t always just a standalone wall. It was once the front of a grand mansion owned by Christian H. Heigold, a highly skilled German immigrant stonecutter who settled in a bustling riverfront neighborhood known as "The Point."

Today, the Heigold Facade is one of Louisville’s most striking pieces of interactive public art. Because it is completely open behind the windows and doors, the sky, the trees, and the passing sun rays act as an ever-changing canvas for anyone looking through it.

This week, I’m sharing a few of my absolute favorite photos from my travels! I’ve been lucky enough to explore some truly beautiful places, and nothing makes me happier than bringing you along for the journey.

Today's set of photos is from a fall weekend getaway we took a couple of years ago. This is the Marilla Bridge Trail in Bradford, PA.

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when autumn peaks just as a storm rolls in. These photos capture the Marilla Covered Bridge in Bradford, Pennsylvania, perfectly nestled between the vibrant, changing seasons and a heavy, dramatic sky. The way the low-hanging fog creeps over the tree line while the last bits of sunlight fight through the clouds creates an incredibly moody, cinematic atmosphere.

If you’re planning to visit this hidden gem in the Allegheny region, here is what you need to know:

The Loop: The main Marilla Bridges Trail is a gentle, highly scenic 1-mile loop that circumnavigates the Marilla Reservoir. It’s perfect for a relaxing afternoon walk, trail running, or photography.

The Bridge: The star of the show is this gorgeous, timber-framed covered bridge. It spans the spillway and offers an incredible vantage point over the water, especially when the fall foliage is reflecting off the surface.
