This might shock other photographers, but I actually like chaotic family sessions.

Because let’s be honest — real family life is chaotic. The tickle fights, the running, the bribing with snacks, the mid-session meltdowns… that’s the good stuff. That’s the real story.

Perfectly posed photos are pretty, but they’ll never beat the magic of genuine laughter, messy hair, and the tiny moments that happen between the poses. When you look back, I want you to remember the feeling — not whether everyone was looking at the camera.
