Part III | August Edition
Of the three weddings I had the opportunity to feature in British Vogue’s August issue, this one feels especially personal.
The Hoynoski's celebrated their marriage in a way that felt so completely true to them, surrounded by their closest people, the little details they cared about, and even the pets who are part of their family. There was so much personality woven into the day, without anything ever feeling forced.
It was relaxed, intimate, and incredibly beautiful. The kind of day where everyone could settle in, enjoy themselves, and actually be present for it all.
And honestly, this is my dream kind of wedding to photograph.
Small guest list. Thoughtful design. A beautiful setting. Your favorite people gathered around you. The details that make the day feel like yours. A celebration that feels elevated, but never loses the warmth and ease that made you want to get married in the first place.
I knew I wanted to feature this wedding the second I took these photographs. There was something about the combination of the design, the setting, the intimacy, and the way everything came together that felt so effortlessly editorial. These are the kinds of photographs that make me want to keep pushing my work creatively, beautiful enough to feel like a fashion editorial, but still deeply rooted in the people and the story of the day.
Their day was also captured on Super 8, which felt like the perfect addition to a wedding so full of movement, feeling, and nostalgia.
So grateful to the Hoynoskis for letting me document this one, and so special to see these photographs in the British Vogue August issue. 🤍
