This one is in honor of a sweet friend of mine who suddenly lost her mom yesterday. Having a brand new baby + being in the beginning of her own motherhood- she shouldnāt have had to say goodbye to her mom so soon. So this one is in her honor.
To all the moms who lay down their lives for their kids- in childhood and adulthood, on hard days and good days, making mud castles even though sheās exhausted already, keeping the house clean so her kids have somewhere nice to come home to, putting in all the work just to make a birthday party extra special year after year, organizing vacations to spend time together away from home, booking photoshoots every year so she can try to preserve these memories forever. On and on, the work of a devoted and selfless mother never ends.
In honor of a mother lost- letās never forget that the work youāre pouring into devoting your life to motherhood wonāt go unrecognized or unrewarded. God called a special mom home yesterday but letās rejoice together in knowing she left a legacy of motherhood behind, passed onto her daughter, and her daughters after that.
