Hello All. Another update, as today is March 20th, which is Boston Marathon “Giving Day” and I am reaching out in the hopes that I will find someone that maybe wants to support this worthy cause and hasn’t seen my previous posts, or maybe just needs that extra push. We are now just one full month away from the big day when I will run for the McCourt Foundation to help with research and development for Neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS, etc.

It would mean so much if you or someone you might know could donate to help reach my minimum goal of $10k as I work toward my ultimate goal of $15k. Thanks in advance for any support you can give and of course to all of those who have already contributed. I appreciate all your support and faith in my efforts. This is very close to my heart and I know crossing that finish line will be a very emotional time for me.

The photo with this update was taken last weekend in Atlanta Georgia where I competed in (3) Spartan Races for a Trifecta Weekend of racing. I was able to get 2nd place for the 21k race, and 3rd place for the 10k race. Was a very successful weekend and now I am hopeful that we can be successful with fund raising as well. Here’s to setting goals and challenging limits and exceeding then as often as possible!

Last day of the week here at Sunday River, Maine. Had a great week and got fresh snow three days, including this morning. Probably the best conditions we’ve had here in many years. Always a blast here, but this one was special.

Hello all. I posted this on my page, but sharing here for all of those that don’t see that post or follow me on Facebook. I am teaming up with the McCourt Foundation in order to help raise funds for the advancement in the study and research of neurological disease. It’s affected me personally, and in my business life, and this is a big deal for me. I will be running the Boston marathon on April 21. Any support that you can give is greatly appreciated. I’m proud and honored to be part of something bigger than me and hope to help make a difference for those who suffer in the future. https://www.givengain.com/project/jeff-raising-funds-for-the-mccourt-foundation-90051?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1UKzPeLmwt—PMwxf1eC7xldvsiC7hGb6ML_Ukd3Nv8mBFE1utClZvV_I_aem_gb_fdZn4d9r2YyMdiGiidw

By now I think the entire world is aware of the devastation and loss that Southern California is dealing with. I have many clients that have serious loss and in some cases have lost everything. It’s a terrible tragedy but even in the greatest of losses, there is always something left that shows we will survive and we will recover even from the worst of times. I completed this 19’8” sculpture back in May of 2022 for a commercial client for their office building in Pacific Palisades. I was so proud of the results and was so honored to have a sculpture as their centerpiece for the building. I got a call from their office asking for paperwork regarding the piece on Friday of last week and realized that their building was gone and it was a complete loss. I was so upset and felt so bad for them, but the owner wanted to chat. I really didn’t know what to say because I felt so terrible for them and everyone affected. I finally spoke with this client last night and was relieved to hear that he is doing fine and is safe. He started sharing the incident with me and asked me if I wanted to coordinate coming to get the sculpture. My thought was “is it still there? How is that even possible??” He then sent me the first photo in this post! I was completely blown away. I’m crying and amazed at the same time, but what I take from this photo is that even in the worst of times, there is always beauty in the experience. We all have to go through tough times in life and this is clearly no exception. But I know we will rebuild and we will once again be whole as people and as a community.

So, “buddy the elf” made the best of gallery for the weekend in Phoenix for the trifecta weekend. I have to say that by the time I got to the sandbag carry, I was wishing I was wearing less clothing! 😰Especially midday with the sun, shining and race number two for the day. However, it was worth every bead of sweat to see the look on all the kids faces, have everybody enjoy it, and then every time I pass someone they all would say, “hey buddy, hope you find your dad!!” Such a fun weekend and such a great time with my Spartan family.

What a great finish to an awesome weekend with everyone in Pheonix. Of course, made the overall podium for women AGAIN crushing it this weekend, as well as many of my fellow racers. My brother .d.miller crushed his race too and improved tremendously on his time with a new PR for this course! I got 3rd place on Saturday, but was able to have a clean race today and got 2nd place for my age group. One more weekend to go to finish off the year. So stoked!!!

So much fun for RaceDay today in Pheonix. Was able to get 3rd place for the beast, and of course my good friend crushed it and got 1st place overall for the ladies. So@proud of her!! Congrats to everyone who made the podium, finished the race, and just to show up. The “Buddy Outift” is what I wore for the Sprint today. Was a bit warm, but the response from everyone made it worth it. Kids really enjoyed it and ever kept saying “Hey Buddy…hope@you find your dad!” 🤣

What an awesome weekend in Newberry, SC. This was a special one for me, because Saturday was my mom‘s 82nd birthday! My parents met me there on Friday, and spent the weekend celebrating and supporting me as they always do. To top it off, my mom was able to come up on the podium with me on Saturday for her birthday. She was blown away, and the Spartan family really gave her the warmest possible birthday greeting. I could’ve asked for. Love my Spartan racing and love the competition. To top it off, I got second place on Saturday for the beast, and then on Sunday I pushed with everything I had left and ended up in first place by about five minutes! Huge success this weekend for me and very proud of my Spartan family. Congrats to everyone who participated, completed their races, and achieved their goals. Let’s go let’s go. See you next weekend in Phoenix!
