My name is Anna Garceau, and I provide friendly, timeless photography at Shutter in a Compass. I love bright colors and images that evoke nostalgia.

My services include shooting portraits, engagements, bo***ir, families, proms, homes, and pets. I am an independent freelance photographer specializing in 35 mm film and I shoot with a Nikon FG20 camera as well as a Nikon D3200 DSLR. I shoot portraits, engagement photos, families, senior portraits, bo***ir, and pets. My pictures tend to have a slightly dreamy and ethereal quality to them, which is my signature. I provide my equipment, supplies, and edit all of my own photos.

The tenderest moments that I am invited to participate in just make my heart swell to the point of popping. Cailin and Cole got engaged at Goat Island Lighthouse in October of 2024, and I captured his proposal to her. Then, last Saturday they found out that they are having a baby boy due this July 🥰🐛🐳 It was such a cool special moment of realization and surprise to photograph. I am very fond of this beautiful growing family, and what a lucky baby to have such dear parents 🤍
