As Earth Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that every day is an opportunity to appreciate and protect our beautiful planet. I’m dedicated to using the power of photography to inspire environmental stewardship 🌿📷

In addition, around this time last year I joined as a business member and I’m so happy to say that I was able to donate $1,450 over the course of the year to partnered environmental organizations that are working to support people and preserve our planet’s natural heritage 🌎

Last Spring I had the pleasure of staying at and photographing , a bed and breakfast built in 1889, nestled on the shore of the gorgeous Hardanger Fjord in Norway 🏔️

The lovely couple who own this place traded city life for the stunning nature and quaint lifestyle here. They have lovingly restored the house to maintain its history and charm, and it certainly shows

The decor is cozy and beautiful, the surrounding nature is awe-inspiring, and the farm to table meals are thoughtful, sustainable, and delicious. The cherries on top were the sauna overlooking the fjord, their adorable dog who Zoey played with, and the proximity to so many gorgeous hikes

I wanted to share some of the photographs from the series being shown at in Chile right now

I haven’t shared these here, even though I took them back in 2019. I am proud of this series, but kept it private, only selling prints through Saatchi not my own website, never sharing them here except on stories when they’ve sold to a collector. I think because this work is so different from what I typically share, because it’s a cohesive fine art series to be seen in print, because I didn’t know how it would be received, I’ve kept it for myself because of how much of my soul it bares. Can any other creatives relate? The ego is a tricky thing, and so is fear, but here is one of my favorite series of photographs I’ve taken to date, titled “Beauty in the Forgotten American Moment”

These photographs were taken in a cinematic format in the California desert along the old Route 66, looking through a nostalgic lens on what once was. Prints in two sizes are now available on my own website
