Championship Contender 🏁📸

Brian rundstrom jr had a stellar day on Saturday at South Boston Speedway . Rolling off the trailer with the same solid speed he brought just a week ago! The team continued to improve on setup, and found a few minor maintenance items that proved to help the car.

With a qualifying effort of P3, Brian was in a great spot for the feature. All he needed to do was maintain and gain 2 positions. After fending off competitor and some on track contact, Brian came out in front. Leading the rest of the race all the way to checkered!

Going into the final race, just ONE position separates Brian and P2 in championship points. It’s going to be a very interesting end to the 2026 season. And one you DEFINITELY don’t want to miss!

The Comeback 📸🏁

Collin Hilton has had a tumultuous year to say the least at South Boston Speedway in 2026. Starting off the year sidelined by a season altering wreck. Collin and his team spent a good chunk of the season rebuilding and getting the car ready to come back out.

It would appear they have done just that, And THEN SOME. Rolling out of the trailer with good speed, the team only further improved the car. Qualifying was tough, since just an hour prior there was standing water on the track. All the progress the team worked for during the day had quite literally been Washed Away. The qualifying effort found Collin sitting P7 for the feature.

In the race, he showed that he’s not only back…but that he’s better than ever. Moving through the field and methodically picking off the cars in front of him through both racing and strategy. He parked it in P2 at the drop of the Checkered Flag. A career best finish for the Limited Late Model driver, and after only 1 race back in the car!

Keep an eye out, because I have a feeling that his progress is nowhere near finished! Congratulations Collin and Team. You deserve this one!
