Finally got a chance to get in to the studio today. Asked my daughter to be the model, and clearly she did a great job...it's those great genetics that she got all from her mom Kate.

Time to start booking those photo shoots and get ready for Mothers day 2022.

Such an adorable puppy dog that I got to meet yesterday.
I can't wait to process the rest of the photos and pull out other amazing photos from our session. Her sister is a red Doberman and was just as gorgeous as this sweet girl.

Message me and schedule your puppy dog photoshoot, or PDP for those in the know.
Please don't confuse it with PDF, that is like, way different and has nothing to do with a photoshoot...unless you are bad at spelling and think photoshoot is spelled like fotoshoot.

From two weeks ago on the Family/Farm shoot I did, I have loved this dog from the first time I met him, he was so gentle and I always thought he looked like an old man looking off into the distance as he contemplated life and wanted to capture that look. His name is Chaos and he is an awesome dog.
I have really enjoyed photographing new things, new perspectives and new families and feel really blessed that this opportunity came up for me. I haven't found my niche yet, but I am loving pet photography so far...I get to play with dogs and take their photo! So cool!
Taking photos of models, kids and families is fun, but they don't run and fetch the ball when I throw it (over and over again), although people do tend to sit and take direction better than the animals, I guess there are pros and cons to everything lol.

teamed up with a local animal shelter to offer a photography shoot to help raise money for their needs.
The shelter is called and they are a no-kill shelter in Fayette county Georgia. They have a really good approach I think and one of the goals is to have less crate/kennel time and make it more of a doggy daycare type of atmosphere.

They focus on the temperment of the dog as opposed to labeling a dog aggressive because of misperceptions in certain breeds. Take a look at their site and bid on something if you can, doesn’t have to be my photography but anything helps.

The puppy dog in this post is for attention only, she just happened to be at another photoshoot I did recently and loved how her ear looked.

I was holding off on posting the photos from the themed photoshoot with , until I knew which photos were selected for the magazine.
This one wasn't chosen, which is too bad as it is one of my favorite photos. I love the images that aren't super posed or super directed. Candid photos of someone in thought, or doing something not entirely expected.I love how the composition came out on this and the colors and pose that captured.
