Most people don't hate being on camera. They hate not knowing what to expect.
This client was nervous. You can't tell from the final video, which is kind of the whole point.

And here's what we tell every client before we roll: We won't start until you feel ready. There are no wrong answers. We'll find the good ones together. It's just us in the room. Every time.

Before our last filming session, we spent an hour on a call asking questions that had nothing to do with video. What does success look like in six months: not for the video, but for the business? What are you afraid to say on camera, and why? What do you want people to know about you?
The footage always comes out better when we've done that first. Strategy before filming. Every time.

brought us to Boston to film interviews with their classroom library grant recipients, and our task was to film them in the middle of a bustling conference floor. Picture a tiny setup, jostling crowds, and so much noise. And yes, we pulled it off, delivering over 45 reels where the recipients talked about the impact of the grant on their classroom and their students’ reading lives. 🎬🎥

As a video business, we spend a lot of time in front of screens. A LOT. We can’t deny that the software and tools we use help us do some really cool things.

Still, we know some of our best ideas come when we get away from our computers and put down our phones. For us, that means taking a walk, drawing in a sketchbook, or having a coffee at Crackskull’s with friends. How do you step away and let your creativity breathe?

Riddlehaven asked us to bring one of their escape room plots to life, so we created a 2-minute animated intro complete with voice-over, music, and custom illustrations. The twist? You’ll have to visit the escape room to see it. Keep an eye on .escapes for future opening dates!
