Glacier Bridge—officially the Nisqually Glacier Bridge—is a historic high‑level span on the road to Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park, built between 1958 and 1961 after multiple earlier bridges were destroyed by glacial floods. It marks the route of the first road in the United States to reach the snout of an active glacier, crossing the volatile, glacier‑fed Nisqually River.
