One of the things I notice all the time is how many photos moms have of their kids... and how few they have with them.

Somewhere on your camera roll are thousands of photos of your little ones, but when it's time to find one of you together, there are only a handful.

I know it's easy to wait until you feel more rested or finally buy the outfit you've been wanting. But your kids aren't waiting for any of that.

They already see you as home, and one day they'll be so thankful you stepped in front of the camera with them.

I wish more moms realized that they do not need to feel "put together” to deserve photos with their baby. I promise, you are perfect as you are, no matter what you are feeling.

And these images are all about connection. Years from now, your baby is not going to notice whether your hair was perfect.

I’ve heard “Your hands are full!” so many times....especially when my own boys were little. But I’ve always loved to think of it a little differently… what a beautiful thing it is to have a heart so full.

These precious twin brothers are double the love, double the joy, and such an incredible blessing to their family. And seriously… did I mention how dang CUTE they are?! Two little bundles of perfection!

One thing I often hear from women after their maternity session is, "I almost didn't book these."

Their reasons? They didn't feel like themselves. They were waiting until they felt more comfortable in front of the camera. They were worried about what they looked like.

And then they see their gallery.

Not because they suddenly loved every photo of themselves, but because they saw something worth remembering. The season of waiting, dreaming, preparing, and imagining what life would look like once their baby was finally here.
