Beginnings always hide themselves in ends.
The Newburyport Studio has been my heart and soul the past five years. This was not how I envisioned our journey ending, but sometimes life forces us to make the hardest choices, begin new chapters and pivot.
Due to such a drastic rent increase, I’ve made the tough decision to not renew my lease and CLOSE next month. This will be my last post. (I felt it only fitting to end with the very first photo ever posted.)
This wasn’t a decision I made lightly, but one I made with my future, my son, my community and my values in mind.
I greatly appreciated your input, when the results were so evenly divided I knew I ultimately had to make the final decision. While bittersweet it saddens me most knowing the immeasurable amount of time, effort and love I’ve put into it is being cut short. But I’ll be at peace knowing this decision was the right one, especially when I look at the best thing I’ve created — my son. 🥹
My Christmas wish? …

If The Newburyport Studio ever inspired you, supported your creative journey, brought value to your life or business, benefitted from a giveaway, scholarship, or free rental and you feel moved to contribute, I’ve created a way for you to help. Any amount, big or small, would mean the world and would go directly toward easing the financial strain of this unexpected transition and costs put into enhancing the studio and decor this year that was suppose to be recouped in 2025.
I’ve also compiled a list of nearly 50 local photography studios for you to now book under the DONATE link in my bio. 📷 Please support them.
I hope I’ve left an impact. This studio has been more than just a space — it’s been a home for creativity and connection. I’m walking away with a full ♥️ and endless gratitude for what was built.
If this studio has meant something to you, please share your story below as we say our final goodbyes…
