It should be illegal to look this beautiful pregnant! This mama was literally glowing! I was so excited for this session. Allison is good friends with several of my friends and clients and I have heard all about her over the years, but had never met her. I finally got to meet her and capture her and her little bump and it was the best! It is so evident she is going to be the best girl mom and she has a pretty amazing tribe to help her! Some of the sweetest girls came into the studio to celebrate their 6 month and 5 year birthdays! I just love this family and these girls are so darn sweet! Their little friendship is heart-melting. Take a peek at these cuties and their amazing mama!

You know me and my love of names! Here is the first edition of boys names that just "go together." There is no scientific reasoning behind these combos aside from the fact that - TO ME - they sound like they go together.

I will have more to share from this shoot, but I just had to share a couple tonight.

I've wanted to do a shoot that embodies what childhood in Southern Indiana looks like to me for so long. When I think of a Hoosier childhood, it's basketball in the driveway on the family hoop, one-on-one against your brothers, mom and dad stepping in from time to time to humble you with their skills, dunking on the lowered goal and baby sister crawling around barefoot just taking it all in.

This family is one of my favorites that I've had the chance to work with over the last 15 years and when I had the idea for this shoot, I knew exactly who I wanted it to be. Mom and dad are just so genuine, easy-going and fun to be around and these kids are such good kids. I also knew that they had a deep love for basketball. :) It was hot, we were sweaty, but we had a lot of fun. Take a peek at a summer evening in the driveway with this amazing family!

And as a sidenote, mom and dad can still hoop!

Being a parent of a 2-year-old involves constant laughter, chaos and cuddles. It's full of "one more times", shoulder rides, hand holding and inquisitive looks. These things make up the fabric of being a parent to young kids and I promise you'll never want to forget any of it.

Tonight was full of all those things. Lots of snuggles, tickling, chasing and lots of love. I had such a wonderful time capturing these three and all the things that make their family so special. The way Callen's little hands wrap around dad's neck or the way he gazes up at his mom while holding her hand are enough to melt your heart. Take a peek at our evening!

Would you believe me if I told you this beautiful woman is about to give birth to TWIN girls in 6 DAYS! Six days people! And she looks this good! I cannot wait to meet these little ones in a few shorts weeks!

Some of my faves welcomed a new little one to their crew and he is the perfect addition! Conor is baby #4 and looks just like his siblings. He was a tiny little guy who is absolutely adored by his big brother and sisters. Take a peek at this handsome little guy.
