I have photographed this family since Ryker was a newborn. Since that time I've photographed them nearly every single year and they've become more friend than client. I look forward to their session every year. It has been so fun to watch these boys grow and their personalities blossom. They are so well-behaved and fun! Ashley and Jake are one of my favorite couples to photograph together because they genuinely still adore each other and it's amazing to witness. Their individual photos are some of my favorites every year. I had so much fun capturing this beautiful crew and I loved hanging out and chatting with them after even more! It’s Friday and that means another Friday introduction.

I’m Katie, the eye behind Exhale Photography. I am a wife and mother to four and have been photographing Newburgh and Evansville newborns and families for over 15 years. But you could probably find all that on my website. Here are some things you may not find there.

- I have terrible vision and can only see shapes and colors without my contacts or glasses.

- I can only fall asleep sleeping on my left side and I have no idea why.

- I am fascinated by true crime and follow current cases very closely. You better believe I’ve got opinions on the Clancy and Read cases.

- I read every day while walking or running on my treadmill. I am a terrible multitasker but I excel at this.

- I am an introverted people-pleaser who assumes everyone either doesn’t like me or is mad at me until they prove otherwise.

- I wear my hair up everyday except for the day I get my hair done.

- I am a firm believer that fountain Diet Coke is an entirely different drink than Diet Coke out of a can or bottle and I will fight someone over this.

- I would rather get run over by a bus than ask for help with something.

Some of my faves are adding a new member to their crew this Fall and last night we went out into the scorching heat to grab some last photos of them as a family of four! If you are feeling exhausted, worn out and overwhelmed, it’s because you were doing one of the toughest jobs in the world. So whether you are staying home every single day with your kids or working a full-time job outside of the house and then coming home to your children, know that you are doing something that is extremely taxing and you’re doing an amazing job.

For years I've said "no, absolutely no seniors or weddings". But after 15 years behind the camera, I'm toying with the idea of offering a limited number of senior sessions each year. I wanted to give it a shot and my friend's stunning daughter agreed to be my model. I had the literal best time with this beauty and her mama on Saturday. Lilly is one of the kindest, most genuinely beautiful (both inside and out) girls I know and it was such an honor to get to photograph her. She has no idea how stunning she is! I spent last night in the sweltering heat with one of my all-time favorite families! I have been photographing this family for over 8 years and they are so incredible special to me. I've photographed every one of their babies as newborns and I simply adore each one of them. They are so fun and so full of personality. It seriously makes for the most fun photos!
